There are various attractions in Thimphu such as the National Post Office, the Clock Tower Square, the Motithang Takin Preserve, Tango and Chari Monasteries, Buddha Dordenma, National Memorial Chorten, Centenary Farmers Market.

The beautiful Paro valley is the widest and greenest valleys of Bhutan. Surrounded by lush rice fields and peaceful Paro River which flows down the valley, this heart of Bhutan stands as one of the best Bhutanese towns. The scenic beauty is for photographers and nature lovers to explore every richness of this place on foot. Paro is an ideal blending of ancient history and breath-taking natural beauty, with a healthy part of modern life in it.

The difference in cost arising due to extra usage of vehicle, other than scheduled & mentioned in the itinerary.
Difference in cost arising due to mishaps, political unrest, natural calamities like – landslides, road blockage, etc. In such a case, extra will have to be paid on the spot by the guest directly.

Bhutan is a Tobacco-Free country and hence Tobacco is not easily available. One can carry up to 250 cigarettes for personal use by declaring at customs upon arrival and paying appropriate duty @ 200%. Most of the hotels have both smokings as well as non-smoking rooms however they prefer no smoking in the rooms because most of the hotels are made of wood.
One bottle of liquor per person is allowed to be imported Duty-Free.
Do not carry Indian Rs. 500/- or Rs. 1000/- currency notes. It is illegal
